Great to hear of your move to an electric vehicle this summer!
The City is not allowed to recommend private businesses unless we have gone through a full request for qualifications vetting process, which we have not done at this point for electricians. We encourage you to ask your friends/neighbors and read reviews online.
You may want to keep an eye on Eversource's charging station information as well. At the moment, Eversource manages a program called ConnectedSolutions, which gives you an incentive for connecting your charger to their demand response program (limiting charger use during times of peak demand). Eversource is also hoping to have some incentives for installing chargers at home and the electrical work that might go along with that, but but still hasn't finalized what this program will look like - hopefully we'll hear more detail in the next few weeks.
